I have been working as an English teacher in Hong Kong since September, 2005. A teaching job can make me happy and feel a sense of fulfilling. In the past years, I gained a variety of teaching techniques and I am confident that I can handle the classroom teaching properly anywhere or to anyone. Also, I was rewarded "Teacher of the year 2006-2007" from a non-profit organization.In my opinions, being a qualified teacher needs these factors: a passion for teaching, concern for students, patience as well as tolerance and outstanding knowledge. I have been teaching intensive English for students and some of them have a low English proficiency and lose confidence in themselves as English learners. I pay attention to this. I talk with them in private and help them with any problem they may have met. I always motivate them to build confidence in themselves and some of them have already made remarkable achievements in English learning.
